This course approaches Risk from the point of view of a leadership resource. It looks at many ways to manage including socializing risk, building capabilities, seeking multiple perspectives and building institutional frameworks for managing and mitigating risk.
The approach is to help you become aware, gain insights and skill practice on these elements referred to as Leadership Orientations. (Orientations are characteristics or traits.)
Moving away from the negative connotation on Risk, the course approaches it as a resource that has many dimensions, including the need to align ones risk appetite to that of the organization and the consequences of not misalignment.
