Shaping a collaborative culture requires you to play a leadership role thus your course will begin with offering you perspectives to leadership and help you re-examine your own view.
You will be effective in the exercise of leadership based the leadership resources you possess and your ability to apply those resources to suit the situation. We refer to these leadership resources as Leadership Orientations. Orientations are characteristics or traits. In this course you will learn the leadership orientations that have an impact on Formulating Strategies.
The course will help you be self-aware and gain insights on your leadership orientations. You will learn the leadership abilities that have an impact on strategy formulation. Leadership abilities require the combined applying of the leadership orientations learnt.
Developing these leadership orientations and leadership abilities will equip you build a collaborative culture. These leadership orientations and leadership abilities include human thinking, managing and shaping perspectives of people, engaging with power dynamics and becoming interpersonally effective. You will learn the principles behind managing difference and conflict, and what entails being collaborative.
Finally, you learn what you need to deploy to ensure you shape a culture.
Thinking analytically is dependent on your thinking resources. This course will take you through the various thinking resources you possess and the value each brings in. The course will help you be self-aware and gain insights on your thinking orientations. Orientations are characteristics or traits). You will deep dive into analytical thinking and the wide range of its application.
You navigate through the course on drawing the thinking of others and the meaning they make of information which is the perspectives they carry.
You learn to combine the required thinking and working with perspectives to effectively solve problems in a simple, practical and structured manner.
This course will also include perspectives and experiences of leaders when engaging with strategy and their learnings from it.
How is the learning structured?
This course is designed to help you uncover the dimensions mentioned above by breaking it down to learning units that are bite size and easy to consume. It is structured to help you understand the content, learn its application and reflect on your behaviour relating to it. It offers a structure to skills practice to continue beyond the course as well.
